    Corrective Exercise

Postural and Movement Assessments using the CHEK Principles:

All movement emanates from posture. Regardless of your goals, having a healthy functional posture is essential and is the foundation for all things movement.

The Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK) Assessment usually takes 1-2 hours. By also completing the Nutrition and Lifestyle Assessment and assessing the physiological load we can determine the amount of physical and emotional stress placed upon the body. As a result we can produce programs to enhance your function and well-being:

    Things to expect:

    — eliminate orthopedic dysfunction such as: back pain, hip pain, knee pain, shoulder pain

    — resolve chronic symptoms of overuse such as: shin splints, runner’s knee swimmer’s shoulder, iliotibial band syndrome

    — Correct faulty posture

    — Improve sports performance

    — Safely return to optimal conditioning following an injury
